How do I cancel my subscription on the BoligPortal App on my phone?

If you purchased your BoligPortal subscription directly in our app on your Android device or iPhone or iPad, your subscription is managed through your iTunes or Google Play account.

This means that you must also cancel your subscription through iTunes or Google Play if you no longer wish to keep it.

BoligPortal does not have access to cancel the subscription for you. Instead, we refer you to Apple or Google's own official guides to subscription cancellation.

Subscription purchases in the App Store / Google Play Store follow their cancellation policy

When you subscribe through the App Store or Google Play Store, their own terms for cancellation and renewal apply. This means that you must cancel your subscription directly through Apple or Google, and the subscription renews 24 hours before the renewal date.

Since you purchased the subscription through Apple or Google, BoligPortal has no control or authority to cancel the subscription for you.

 

Why can't I cancel my subscription on BoligPortal's website?

When you pay for your subscription via BoligPortal's app for iOS or Android, you enter into a payment agreement with Apple or Google, which acts as an intermediary between you and BoligPortal.

Since the agreement is made with Apple, and not with us, you must cancel the agreement directly with Apple.

Why is the subscription more expensive through the app?

When you subscribe through the App Store or Google Play Store – in this case, through BoligPortal's app – the subscription price is slightly higher than if you subscribe directly on boligportal.dk. This is because Apple and Google takes a commission on all purchases made through apps in their app markets.

This is something we at BoligPortal have no control over or ability to change.

However, you can always purchase your subscription directly on BoligPortal's website and then log into your profile on the app.

You can absolutely use BoligPortal's app as a housing seeker without paying for your subscription directly in the app. Simply purchase your subscription on boligportal.dk and then log into your profile on the app.

I need help canceling my subscription on iTunes. What should I do?

Since your subscription agreement is with Apple or Google, we at BoligPortal are unfortunately unable to access, cancel, or otherwise make changes to your subscription.
