When filling out the digital rental contract on BoligPortal, it is a requirement that you enter the tenant's phone number.

This is because the tenant needs to receive SMS messages from BoligPortal with information about the tenancy.


If you don't enter a number in the field, a message in red font will appear, asking you to fill in the phone number.

Therefore, you cannot complete the rental contract digitally via BoligPortal without providing the tenant's number.

Tenant receives SMS about signature

When the rental contract is sent for signature, your new tenant will receive both an email and an SMS with a link to sign the rental contract.

In this way, it is both quick and easy for your tenant to sign - even when they are on the go.

At the same time, the tenant will also receive a link to their own Tenant Hub, where the signed rental contract can always be found.


Send reminders to the tenant

Once the rental contract is signed by both the tenant and the landlord, you can set up automatic SMS reminders to the tenant.

The tenant can receive a reminder to pay the first month's rent, deposit, and prepaid rent or a reminder about the move-in inspection.


How to enable or disable reminders

  1. Select 'Rental Contracts' or 'Lejekontrakter' in your BoligPortal user profile. 
    Please be aware that if you were using the English version of the site, the langauge will now change to Danish. 

  2. Press 'Gå til oversigt' on the rental contract. Now you see a green timeline where all steps in the digital rental contract are displayed. 

  3. Find the field marked 'Underskrevet', and choose 'Se detaljer'. Below this you can choose different types of SMS reminders for the tenant. 



Save your tenant's phone number

The entered phone number is your guarantee that the tenant's phone number will be saved. 

You can always find the tenant's phone number by selecting 'Rental Contracts' or 'Lejekontrakter', finding the specific rental contract, and selecting 'Gå til oversigt'.

Additionally, you can of course also find the tenant's phone number in the completed, signed contract under section 1.
