I accidentally declined a rent payment on MobilePay - what should I do?

Have more questions? Submit a request

If you, as a tenant, decline a single month's rent payment in MobilePay, your landlord will be notified by email once the payment date has passed.

However, it is always a good idea to inform your landlord as soon as you realize you have declined the rent payment.

The payment agreement will still be active, and MobilePay will continue to process future rent payments, but the system will not attempt to collect the one declined payment again.

After declining a single rent payment in MobilePay, you will need to arrange an alternative payment method (e.g., a bank transfer) with your landlord for that specific payment.

Contact your landlord to arrange how to transfer your one-time payment

Have you deleted the entire rent payment agreement?

If you didn't just decline a single rent payment but canceled the entire rent payment agreement via MobilePay, please refer to the guide "I accidentally deleted my rent payment agreement on MobilePay - what should I do?"
