This is an article about BoligPortal's free service for conducting and managing moving inspection reports, which is currently available in Danish. Therefore, images and some phrasing in this guide may appear in Danish.

If you have any questions or need assistance with your moving inspection reports, you're always welcome to contact BoligPortal's Customer Service

In BoligPortal's Moving Inspection tool, you can easily and quickly set the condition for all units in your rental properties. This makes it convenient for both you and the tenant to have an overview of the overall condition and level of wear and tear of the rental property, both during move-in and move-out inspections.

In your moving inspection reports, all units will automatically be listed with the condition 'Good'. Therefore, you only need to set the condition for your units if they should be indicated as other than 'Good'.

You can fill out and manage your moving inspections through your BoligPortal profile under 'Inspection Reports' or using BoligPortal's Moving Inspection App, available for both Android og IOS

BoligPortal's digital moving inspection tool is currently only available in Danish, which is why this guide contains text and images in Danish.

What do the different conditions mean?

The different conditions describe the general state of the rental property or units. However, whether a unit fits into a given category is a matter of judgment. This list should be considered as purely indicative.

Ny (New)

The unit is in nearly perfect or unused condition. There are no signs of wear, damages, or use.

For example, if a brand-new refrigerator has just been installed in the kitchen.

God (Good)

The unit is in a satisfactory condition. There might be minor signs of use or wear, but it functions normally and generally looks good.

For example, if the kitchen countertop has a few years of use but has been regularly maintained, appearing in a very good condition without any stains or significant scratches.

Slidt (Worn)

The unit is clearly used. There may be noticeable signs of wear, scratches, or other cosmetic imperfections. It might still function, but it's not in optimal condition.

For example, if a varnished floor has numerous and visible scratches, stains, or patches with no varnish left.

Forsømt (Neglected)

The unit is poorly maintained or defective. There may be visible damages, missing parts, or other issues that significantly affect its functionality or appearance.

For example, if the kitchen exhaust hood hasn't been regularly cleaned, causing it to have poor or no suction.

Mangler (Missing)

The unit is completely missing. It might be absent or not present in the property.

For example, if the lease agreement states that the rental property includes a dishwasher, but it's not found during move-in or move-out inspections.
