If the tenant is simply not present at the move-out inspection and therefore cannot sign the report, we refer to this guide instead..
If the tenant refuses to sign the report during the move-out inspection, you should go to the final section of the inspection, which is titled 'Afslut, underskriv og send' (Finish, sign, and send). There, you will find a red text that says 'Afvis at underskrive' (Refuse to sign) under the field where the tenant is supposed to sign.
It is advisable to wait until the tenant has received a copy of the report via email and/or SMS before clicking 'Afvis' (Refuse). If the tenant clicks on the link, the timestamp will be recorded in the report's timeline, providing you with evidence that the tenant has received the report.

Finish by clicking the 'Send og afslut' (Send and finish) button.
Afterwards, the move-out report will be sent to the tenant via SMS and email with the subject line "Flyttesyn: Bekræft modtagelse" (Move-out inspection: Confirm receipt).
In the email, we ask the tenant to confirm receipt of the move-out report by replying directly to you via email. Therefore, please pay attention to whether the tenant does this.
Important: If the tenant also refuses to confirm receipt in writing
If the tenant chooses to refuse confirmation in writing to you, you must send the report to the tenant's postal address with proof of delivery within 14 days after the inspection has been completed.
