Note: This is an article about BoligPortal's free service for creating and managing rental contracts, which is currently available in Danish. Therefore, images and some phrasing in this guide may appear in Danish. If you have any questions or need assistance with your rental contracts, you're always welcome to contact BoligPortal's Customer Service.
When filling out your rental contract using BoligPortal's contract builder, you can either choose to use BoligPortal's lawyer-approved texts for §11 or add your own formulations.
If you want to add your own formulations, it is advisable to write them in a separate document and upload it to the contract as a PDF file.
Below, we guide you on how to add a file containing your own special terms.
How to use your own § 11
- Go to the section 'Særlige vilkår' in the rental contract builder.
- Select the tab 'Benyt egen §11'
- Click 'Gennemse' to select the file where you have written your special terms. You can also drag and drop the file into the square field.
Note that the document you want to upload must be a PDF file.
- Your own §11 will now be added to the rental contract. Note that your special terms will be included as an appendix to the rental contract. However, this does not affect the validity of the terms or the rental contract.
Note: When using your own uploaded § 11, the information previously filled in with BoligPortal's §11 will not be used. If you change your mind, you can simply delete your own § 11 and use BoligPortal's § 11 instead.
