If you’ve applied for a very attractive or popular rental, it may take 10 – 14 days before you receive a response.

The strongest applicants often get a reply first. You can increase your chances by completing your profile thoroughly and writing a strong message to the landlord.

All Landlords Are Validated by BoligPortal
The first time a landlord lists a property on BoligPortal, they must complete a mandatory validation call with us — regardless of whether they are a private individual, housing association, or a large professional landlord.
We ensure that the landlord is legitimate and connected to the property they are renting out.
If a landlord doesn’t reply immediately, it doesn’t mean they have bad intentions or that the property isn’t real.
Remember that many landlords on BoligPortal are regular people with jobs, families, and other activities outside of their role as a landlord.
Unfortunately, there is no fixed timeframe for when you can expect a response from landlords you contact through BoligPortal.
We recommend that all landlords respond as quickly as possible, but the speed at which they respond varies greatly.
Most people receive a reply within a few days, but it’s not unusual for it to take 10–14 days — especially if the landlord has received many applications.
We therefore cannot contact the landlord on your behalf or provide their contact information.
We are obligated to protect landlord data in accordance with GDPR legislation.
Therefore, we cannot share any contact details, including the landlord’s phone number, address, or similar information.
