You can easily change the language from Danish to English if you do not understand or feel comfortable with the Danish language – whether you are on boligportal.dk, in the BoligPortal app, or in our support center.
Are you searching for a home?
If you do not speak Danish, we recommend using our English-language site when subscribing with us. When you sign up via BoligPortal.dk/en/, you will be registered as an English-speaking user and receive all communication – such as receipts and search agent messages via email – in English.
Are you a landlord?
BoligPortal is a Danish website for renting properties in Denmark. Even though you use our website and receive our system emails in English, certain content will still appear in Danish – for example, the property description on individual listings. This is because the landlords themselves write these descriptions, which are therefore only available in the language they were originally written in.

How to change the language from Danish to English
Change language on our website
On BoligPortal.dk you can change the language by clicking the 'English' button and flag in the footer – the bottom right corner – on the homepage.

Change language in our app
To change the language in the BoligPortal app, you need to go into your app settings locally on your phone. You typically do this under 'Settings' and 'Apps', where you can search for 'BoligPortal' among all your installed apps. From there, you can change the language from Danish to English.
Note: The exact procedure depends on your phone and operating system.
In the BoligPortal app itself, you can only change the email language – that is, the language you receive email communication from us in. You can do this under 'Settings'.
Change language in our Support Center
In our Support Center (where you are right now), you can change the language by clicking the 'Flag icon' and choosing English button in the top right corner.

Not all features are available in English
When using BoligPortal in English, you may experience that not everything is translated into English.
Property ad descriptions:
We are a Danish advertising platform, and therefore, most of the advertised properties are managed by Danish-speaking landlords who write their ad descriptions in Danish. These ad descriptions will not be automatically translated into English.
Digital rental contracts:
Some of our products are currently only available in Danish – for example, our tool for creating digital rental contracts. Therefore, it is only possible to use our free digital rental contract tools in Danish.
