If you experience that all or parts of the text are missing in a § 11 clause that you have added or edited in BoligPortal's digital rental agreement, it is because you have exceeded the allowed character limit.
To resolve the issue, you should shorten the text or alternatively split your § 11 clause into smaller sections.

In BoligPortal's digital rental contract builder, under 'Særlige vilkår (§11)', you can edit, delete, and add special terms to the rental agreement's § 11.
If you have written too much text in a clause, parts of your text may disappear from the section. A single clause can fill up to one page in the rental agreement document. Any text beyond that will disappear from the document.
It is recommended that you omit unnecessary line breaks and rephrase the text to make it clearer. If your clause contains multiple references/sections, it is also necessary to split your clause into several parts for it to be legally valid.
Note: If you are writing your own § 11 terms from scratch, you must ensure that they are written in a way that does not violate the non-negotiable rules of the rental law.
They should also be correct, clear, and unambiguous, and not be deemed unreasonable according to contract law.
If your term is written in a way that may be considered unclear or vaguely formulated, leading to potential interpretation disputes, or if it directly contradicts rental law, there is a risk that it may be declared invalid if a dispute arises between you and the tenant.
If in doubt, it may be a good idea to exclusively use BoligPortal's standard terms or alternatively have your own terms legally verified by a lawyer or another legal professional.
