What does it mean when an ad is reserved?

When the landlord marks their property as reserved, it means they are closing the inbox to new inquiries.

You can only see a reserved property if you have already contacted the landlord. This also means that new property seekers can no longer reach out to the landlord.

While the property is marked as reserved, the landlord is typically in the process of selecting a new tenant through the messages. If you have already contacted the landlord, you can still continue your dialogue with them.

Once the landlord has found a tenant, the property will be marked as rented out. If you are not the chosen tenant, you will no longer be able to message the landlord.

A reserved rental will have a yellow banner on the listing with the text: "The rental has been marked as reserved by the landlord. It may become available again if the chosen tenant regrets."
