What does it mean that a property is shareable?

A shareable rental property on BoligPortal is a property that can be shared by multiple tenants.

For a property to be considered shareable, it typically requires several separate rooms without walkthrough access. This allows two or more tenants to be roommates in a common, shared rental property while each having their own private room.

In the section 'About property' at the bottom of the listing, you can see if the rental property is shareable.

Landlord informs whether the property is shareable

On BoligPortal, it is the landlord who determines if the property is suitable to be shared by multiple tenants. This also serves as the landlord’s way of indicating whether the property can be used as a shared living arrangement.

If a property is not described as shareable, it may be because the landlord prefers couples, single tenants, or families as tenants.
