When your landlord uses BoligPortal's digital rental contract, they can indicate that the tenant is responsible for registering with an electricity provider.
In that case, as a tenant, you will receive the following message when you go to sign the rental contract:
"Choose electricity provider. Your landlord has stated in your rental contract that you are responsible for picking an electricity provider yourself."
You will be presented with various electricity agreements from BoligPortal's partners, and you have the option to click on each electricity provider to read more.
With a single click, you can register for an electricity agreement and have an electricity provider from the first day in your new rental. In the next step, you will be asked to consent by providing your CPR number.
Step-by-step guide to choosing an electricity provider

Choose an electricity provider and click 'Continue'

Enter your CPR number and check that your contact information is correct.

Your registration will be complete when you check the box with the text 'Yes, I confirm that XX can sign me up for electricity in my new rentable,' and click 'Go to signing of rental contract'

Once all parties have signed the contract, you will receive a link to your tenant hub, where you can always view your signed documents and your electricity agreement registration.
Free choice of electricity provider in Denmark
We encourage you to read the terms of the agreement before accepting the registration with the electricity provider.
Please note that there is free choice of electricity provider in Denmark, and you always have the right to terminate the agreement and choose another provider.
If you do not want to be registered with one of the suggested electricity providers, you should click 'Don't sign me up' at the bottom of the list of providers. You will then need to manually register with an electricity provider.
