For the rent to be withdrawn on time via a new Betalingsservoce agreement through BoligPortal, the deadline for the tenant to sign up for the agreement is 9 banking days before the end of the month.
We therefore recommend that you sign up the tenant for the payment agreement as early as possible to avoid time pressure, especially if the tenant has questions about the registration or cannot sign up on the same day.
Danish bank closing days include weekends and public holidays. Additionally, there are other fixed closing days. Please refer to Danmarks Nationalbank’s overview of bank closing days.
Be extra early in months with many holidays or weekends
Some months have fewer banking days than others.
We therefore recommend that you check when the 9th last banking day falls in the month you are in, so you can potentially arrange an alternative rent collection method with the tenant if the Betalingsservice agreement does not go through in time.
