When you create a rental listing on BoligPortal, it is manually reviewed by our customer service team. If the listing does not meet our guidelines, it may be rejected.
Rejections are most often due to the listing already existing on BoligPortal or because you have not responded to our inquiries regarding your listing.
You will automatically receive an email from BoligPortal informing you of the reason for the rejection.
Your listing is rejected if the rental unit is already listed on BoligPortal
The most common reason for a listing being rejected is that the rental unit has already been created on BoligPortal once before – by you or someone else.
If you have already created the rental unit on your profile, you should not create it again but instead reactivate your existing listing on your profile.

If another user has already created the rental unit on their profile – for example, a previous owner or administrator – this user must first delete the rental unit before you can create and list it from your profile.
If you attempt to rent out a property that is not intended for private residence, such as allotment gardens, vacation homes, commercial properties, parking spaces, or storage rooms, your listing will also be rejected.

Your listing is rejected if you do not respond to our inquiries
If you are a new landlord, you must go through our validation process, which is just a short phone call, before your listing can be approved. We will therefore call you when you need to have your listing approved for the first time when renting through BoligPortal.
The phone call is mandatory for new landlords. The validation process cannot be completed in writing.
If you do not answer the phone, we will contact you by email. If you do not respond to our inquiries after repeated attempts, your listing will be automatically rejected.
In this case, you will also receive an email from us with the reason for the rejection. If you wish to have your listing approved afterward, you just need to call us to complete the validation process.
