You can easily make changes or add information or images to your listing, even if it is already active on BoligPortal. Simply find the listing under 'Advertised rentables' on your profile and go to the 'Advertising' tab for the rental property.
We recommend adding high-quality images and an engaging description from the start to make your listing appealing when it is newly published on BoligPortal.
However, if interest decreases, you may consider updating the images or improving the description to make the listing more attractive.
How to edit an active listing on BoligPortal
- Log in to your profile and go to the 'Advertised rentables' section in your menu
- Find the listing you want to edit and click on it
- Go to the 'Listing' tab and scroll down to the field you want to edit
- Make your changes and finish by clicking 'Save changes' at the bottom of the page
You can make all the changes you want, as long as you follow our guidelines and do not add images, text, or anything that violates our terms.
For example, you can add new pictures or an open house event if you want to give your listing a boost.

No, the listing date does not change when you edit the ad. You also cannot delete the ad and recreate it to get a new date. If you want a new listing date, you need to purchase the Exposure+ promotion.

You can make all the changes you wish, as long as they comply with BoligPortal's advertising rules and reflect the actual rental property you are trying to rent out.
You can change the following details in your ad:
- Area (only with actual, approved increase or reduction in the residential square meters of the property)
- Rooms (only with actual, approved change in the number of living rooms)
- Ad title
- Images and video
- Description (ad text)
- Contact options – add or remove phone number from your ad
- Lifestyle, facilities, and furnishings
- Energy rating
- Rent and move-in prices
- Move-in date
- Lease period
You may not make changes that do not reflect reality and legislation
It is not allowed to make changes that are inconsistent with reality, applicable laws, or BoligPortal's rules.
For example, you are not allowed to add rooms as bedrooms if they are not approved for habitation according to Danish building regulations. If you add a partition wall in a large room, you are only allowed to count the new room as a bedroom if it meets all the requirements for a habitable room.

You are also not allowed to add text or images to your ad that make your contact information visible, such as your email, website, phone number, or company logo.
BoligPortal automatically receives a notification when an ad is modified. Therefore, make sure to comply with the rules and legislation when editing your ad. Repeated violations may have consequences for your advertising on BoligPortal.
