When you advertise your rental on BoligPortal, you can always pause your listing and temporarily stop receiving inquiries by marking your ad as reserved.

You just need to click the three dots next to your listing under 'Advertised rentables' and select 'Mark as Reserved'.

After this, your ad will be removed from BoligPortal but still visible to all the people who have already contacted you. This allows you to review all the inquiries you have received in peace.

How to mark your ad as reserved

  1. Go to the 'Advertised rentables' tab on your profile and find the rental you want to pause

  2. Click on the three dots next to the rental and select 'Mark as reserved'Mark your rentable as reserved on BoligPortal.png

Your ad will then be visible again on BoligPortal and open for new inquiries.

Found a tenant?
If you find a tenant while your ad is paused, just follow this guide again and select 'Mark as rented out'.

Your ad will then be completely removed from the available listings on BoligPortal but will remain saved in your profile so you can easily reactivate it when you need to find a new tenant in the future.

Remember, as a landlord on BoligPortal, you can create and sign rental contracts for free. Read more about how to manage rental contract here.

Your ad can be reserved for a maximum of 14 days

If you do not open the ad again within 14 days, its status will automatically change to rented and will be removed from the page.

If you already know that it will take more than 14 days before you reopen it for rental, it is advisable to mark the property as rented out so that potential tenants are not left waiting for a response. When you're ready to rent again, just click on 'Advertise' again.
