The rent for a rental property is determined based on three factors:
- The property's location
- The year the property was built
- Whether the rent should be set according to cost-based rent, the rental property's value, or market rent.
The rent is then set according to the regulations in the Rent Act that apply to your specific type of property.
BoligPortal does not have the legal expertise to advise on specific rent setting, but we encourage landlords to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the rules for setting rent before creating the listing.
If the rent is correctly stated in your listing, you will also receive inquiries from the right tenants and ensure a good start to your collaboration.
