When applicants contact you through your listing, the message is automatically sent to your inbox on BoligPortal.
The inbox is a closed and secure system where you can communicate with interested applicants and future tenants in an easy and organized way.
You can access your inbox by clicking on the envelope icon on the BoligPortal homepage or on 'Messages' in the blue menu on your profile.

If a message has disappeared from your BoligPortal inbox, it may be because you accidentally archived it. In that case, it will no longer be visible in the inbox.

If the message you are looking for was sent regarding a listing you have marked as rented, you will not be able to find it in your inbox either. Instead, you need to locate it under the specific listing.

When you receive new messages from prospective tenants, you will automatically be notified via email. The email contains a direct link that takes you straight to your inbox on BoligPortal.
You can decide whether you want to receive automatic notifications about new inquiries – and how often. If you receive many messages, it may be more manageable to get an email notification once a day instead of every time a prospective tenant contacts you.
How to Change Your Email Notifications
- Log in to your BoligPortal profile and go to 'Settings' in the menu.
- Select the 'General' option.
- Go to the 'Email Notifications' section at the bottom of the page and select your email preferences.
You can turn email notifications on or off, and choose how often you want to be notified. You can select to receive emails about new messages "Instantly", "Daily", or "Never".
