There can be several reasons why your payment does not go through on BoligPortal when trying to purchase a subscription or other products.
Possible reasons for your payment being declined
-
Credit card rejection
Your payment may be declined if there is a problem with your payment card. It could be due to an expired card, insufficient balance, or issues with the card issuer.
-
Error in payment information
Please check if you have entered your information correctly. An error in the card number, expiration date, or security code can prevent the payment from being processed.
-
Insufficient or lack of funds
If you are using a debit card, please be aware that there must be sufficient funds in your account to cover the cost of both the 24-hour introductory price of DKK 29 and a 28-day subscription of DKK 349, which the subscription will continue to if not cancelled. Therefore, if there is less than DKK 378 in the account, the payment will not be approved.
-
Issues with two-factor authentication
Verify if your card is correctly set up for 3D Secure two-factor authentication. It has become mandatory for all internet danish payments to be approved with two security factors to make it more difficult for fraudsters to misuse your card information. When you attempt to make a purchase, you will be asked to confirm the payment either through a one-time SMS code or via MitID authentication.
Still experiencing difficulties with payment?
Try to complete the purchase later or contact your bank if the issue persists.
