When using BoligPortal’s inspection tool, you can easily document the readings of your utility meters when your tenant moves in or out.
With just a few clicks, you can also add various types of meters – such as electricity, water, and oil.
To add utility meters and document readings, simply fill out the 'Aflæsning af målere' tab in your inspection.
This guide assumes you are using BoligPortal’s free inspection builder. If you need help creating and completing inspections, you can read more here.
Note: BoligPortal's digital moving report service is only available in Danish, which is why some images and words in this guide appear in Danish.
How to document meter readings in your inspection
- Go to the 'Aflæsning af målere' tab in your inspection and click '+ Tilføj måler'
- Select the correct type of meter from the list, optionally add a name and/or installation number, and finish by clicking 'Tilføj'
You can choose from several predefined options for both meter type and unit, including heating, electricity, oil, and gas.
If you need to add a meter not listed, simply select 'Andet' at the bottom and enter a description of the meter in the 'Navn/installationsnr.' field.
- Enter the reading for the selected meter in the 'Afmåling' field and optionally add a photo of the meter for documentation
Adding a photo is entirely optional.
However, we recommend it, as it helps ensure that the reading is properly documented, should the tenant or any other party later question the consumption record.
