If you do not wish to record utility meter readings in your inspection – for example, if you are subletting a room and therefore do not have separate meters associated with the tenancy – you can simply leave the 'Aflæsning af målere' tab blank in the inspection builder.
The field is not mandatory, so you can fully complete and sign your inspection even if you leave this section empty.
It also has no effect on your inspection report if the green checkmark circle does not appear on the tab.
Note: BoligPortal's digital moving report service is only available in Danish, which is why some images and words in this guide appear in Danish.
If the field already contains a meter – for example, if you duplicated an inspection – you can always delete or edit it.
To delete a meter, click the three vertical dots and select 'Delete'.

Note: If you charge your tenant for utilities as an on-account payment, you are required to document actual consumption. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation regarding utility charges and documentation, including meter readings in your inspections.
At BoligPortal, we do not offer legal advice of any kind regarding utility readings in your inspection. We recommend that you contact a lawyer if you have legal questions.
